1791 CENT Washington Small Eagle Cent MS64 Brown NGC. Baker-16, W-10630, Musante GW-17. A sharply struck and satiny chocolate-brown near-Gem. The surfaces display only infrequent, incidental contact. This handsome token variety was an attempt to secure a Federal coinage contract by the Westwood Mint of Birmingham, England. The dies were engraved by John Gregory Hancock, Sr. Listed on page 83 of the 2017 Guide Book. Census: 6 in 64 Brown, 3 finer (1/17).
