1848 1C N-35, R.2, MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Die State a, with all diagnostics discernible for the variety. This piece is weakly struck on the peripheral stars as almost always. The central devices are bold, and both sides display a pleasing balance of copper-red and burgundy hues. There are no distracting abrasions, and a few small flecks are well hidden. Our EAC grade MS63. Population (all varieties included): 12 in 65 Red and Brown, 3 finer. CAC: 17 in 65, 1 finer (1/17).
