Lincoln Cents
1922 1C No D, Strong Reverse, FS-401, AU50 PCGS. Die Pair 2. Lincoln cents were only struck at the Denver Mint in 1922, but excessive die wear effaced the mintmark on three obverse dies, resulting in the sought-after No D variety. This lightly worn and lightly abraded specimen is from Die pair 2, with a heavily polished obverse and a strongly detailed fresh reverse die. Die Pair 2 coins are by far the most desirable of the No D varieties.
