Buffalo Nickels
1925-D 5C MS65 PCGS. This Gem is not immune to the striking softness that is endemic to virtually the entire issue, but it is certainly better struck than the average '25-D, and the weakness is primarily noticeable on LIBERTY, the bison's head, and FIVE CENTS. The greenish-gray toning yields to rose-gold hints near the peripheries. Both sides are essentially blemish-free. The reverse exhibits a counterclockwise rotation of approximately 45 degrees. PCGS has graded 13 numerically finer examples (1/17).
