Seated Quarters
1853 25C Arrows and Rays MS64+ PCGS. The popular Arrows and Rays design was instituted in 1853 to signify a weight change. This high-end Choice specimen displays sharply detailed design elements, with an interesting die crack through the bottom of the date and another from the rim at 4 o'clock, past Liberty's toe, and through the arrow head. The lustrous surfaces show hints of lavender-gray and golden-brown toning. PCGS has graded 29 finer examples (1/17).
