1917-D 25C Type One MS66 Full Head PCGS. This issue was saved in substantial quantities as a first-year type. This carefully preserved Premium Gem features an exceptional strike, with Full Head detail, complete shield rivets, and bold definition over the eagle's breast and wing feathers. Mostly brilliant but with just a hint of marginal russet toning around both sides. PCGS has certified only 26 numerically finer submissions (1/17).
