Standing Liberty Quarters
1923 25C MS65 Full Head PCGS. A surprisingly small number of Full Head examples exist for the 1923 Philadelphia issue, a fact not always recognized by collectors since nearly 10 million pieces were struck. This Gem coin displays lightly toned lilac-silver surfaces with hints of gold across each side. Only slight weakness on three of the shield rivets is noted, while Liberty's head is full-featured. Marks are tiny and widely spaced. Population: 45 in 65 Full Head, 44 finer (1/17).
