Indian Cents
1908-S 1C MS66 Red PCGS. A small mintage of 1.1 million coins explains this branch mint issue's status as a semikey in the Indian Head cent series. Red Premium Gems are deceivingly rare, and only a single MS67 is reported at the two leading certification services combined. This tan-gold example has coruscating frost that heightens its appeal. The design elements show strong strike definition. Carbon spots appear on the shield and the E in ONE, while two small ticks near the tip of the bust are undoubtedly the sole barriers to an even loftier grade. Population: 52 in 66 (3 in 66+) Red, 1 finer (1/17).
