Seated Quarters
1850 25C Misplaced Date, Briggs 1-A, FS-301, MS64 PCGS. CAC. All circulation-strike 1850 quarters seen exhibit the misplaced 1 in the dentils below the primary 1. This issue is rare in any Mint State grade, and the present CAC-endorsed near-Gem is just shy of the Condition Census. The coin displays brilliant, satiny luster with a few light marks in the fields. The eagle's left (facing) leg shows minor softness, but the obverse is boldly defined. Population: 4 in 64, 1 finer. CAC: 3 in 64, 2 finer (12/16).
