Standing Liberty Quarters
1926-D 25C MS64 Full Head NGC. This is a brilliant and lustrous example with a strong strike and exceptional eye appeal for the grade. The 1926-D is, by far, one of the most challenging Standing Liberty quarters to locate with a Full Head plus good definition on the central portrait. Here, the shield rivets show only a hint of weakness and Liberty's head is bold. Gleaming icy-smooth fields alternate between reflectivity and frosty texture. The coin is untoned save for a pale hint of gold in the top-right field. Census: 20 in 64 Full Head, 10 finer (1/17).
