1937 25C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, MS65 PCGS. Die doubling is evident on the date and IN GOD WE TRUST. Satiny luster shows hints of champagne toning, with flecks of violet and olive near the upper obverse border. The strike is sharp, and there are no obvious abrasions. This Guide Book variety is rare in Mint State, and pieces grading as fine as MS65 are extremely so. Population: 3 in 65, 2 finer (1/17).
