Bust Half Dollars
1814/3 50C O-101a, R.2, AU58 PCGS. CAC. A die crack begins at the border below the first star and joins all the stars on the left, curves through the cap, and joins all the stars on the right. A prominent crack joins the base of all digits in the date. The reverse has a crack that joins UNITED STA. The reverse is rotated counterclockwise. This pleasing AU example has considerable ivory luster and lovely blue, gold, and iridescent toning with a trace of friction on the high points.
