Bust Half Dollars
1824/4 50C O-110, R.2, MS65 NGC. The present satiny Gem displays dusky autumn-gold and gunmetal-gray toning. Refreshingly free from contact, and well struck except on the right-side stars and the right (facing) claw. The eagle's left wing shows minor strike doubling. O-110 is one of two 1824/4 Guide Book varieties, readily attributed by either the repunched 4 in the date or the pelletlike die dot on the reverse field beneath UNUM. This example is solidly within Steve Herrman's Condition Census for the O-110 variety.
