1859-S 50C Large S, WB-101, Die Pair 3, R.3, MS64 PCGS. Mint State examples of the 1859-S Seated half dollar are scarce overall, and those grading finer than MS64 are genuinely rare. This Choice example displays a sharp strike and impressively well-preserved, frosty mint luster. A dusting of olive-gold toning appears over each side. An ebony-colored X appears near the eagle's head. Population: 18 in 64 (1 in 64+), 7 finer (12/16).
