1878 7TF $1 Reverse of 1878 MS66 Prooflike PCGS. The usual type with seven tailfeathers and a flat-breasted eagle, the type commonly called the Reverse of 1878. This brilliant Premium Gem exhibits mirrored, prooflike fields that frame the frosty and fully lustrous obverse and reverse devices. Only about 10% of PCGS submissions of this type have received a Prooflike or finer designation. This issue is extremely rare in MS66 or finer grades with a prooflike designation, and none at this grade level have received the finer Deep Mirror Prooflike designation. Population: 4 in 66 Prooflike, 0 finer (1/17).
