Gold Dollars
1849-D G$1 MS61 NGC. Variety 1-A. Frosty, light yellow-gold surfaces emit radiant luster. A few minor obverse marks limit the grade. Typical of the issue, the central obverse hair details are incomplete. The 1849-D is collectible in most grades, but there is always a high demand from type collectors who seek first year of issue coins or those from the Southern mints.
