This Choice AU 1855-C quarter eagle displays medium yellow-gold coloration with areas of satiny luster remaining in the fields. Coming from a mintage of just 3,677 pieces, this issue has a surviving population estimated at only 85 to 105 pieces in all grades. Population: 20 in 55, 15 finer (12/16).
