Liberty Quarter Eagles
1875-S $2 1/2 MS62 PCGS. CAC. The 1875-S quarter eagle is extremely important for date collectors as the only collectible two and a half dollar issue from that year. The Philadelphia Mint only produced 400 business strikes, while the San Francisco Mint put out what is still considered to be a low mintage of 11,600 coins. This pleasing example has brilliant, frosty luster with hints of pink over light yellow surfaces. Population: 5 in 62, 5 finer. CAC: 1 in 62, 1 finer (1/17).
