1908 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. Delicate peach and greenish hues adorn the lustrous surfaces of this Premium Gem first-year type coin. The strike is sharp, and close study with a loupe fails to reveal any mentionable abrasions. The fields are particularly clean. The 1908 Indian quarter eagle is an available type-coin issue, but Premium Gems are conditionally scarce, and anything finer is extremely rare. PCGS reports only two coins finer than the present example (1/17).
