Indian Quarter Eagles
1914 $2 1/2 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. One of the rarest Indian Head quarter eagles overall, the 1914 is second only to the famous 1911-D, even though its mintage was much higher, at 240,000 pieces. Most survivors are either lightly circulated or in the lower Mint State grades. This near-Gem displays the usually seen mattelike fine-grained surfaces with splendid orange-gold color and a paucity of mentionable marks. A super example for the grade, with the added CAC approval.
