1874-CC $20 AU53 NGC. Variety 4-A. Despite its mintage of more than 115,000 pieces, the 1874-CC double eagle is rare in Uncirculated condition. This AU example offers partially lustrous fields and excellent detail. Original green-gold patina shows a few light, scattered abrasions as usual. Eye appeal is excellent.
