1908-S $20 MS62 PCGS. The scarcity of the 1908-S Saint-Gaudens double eagle stems from its low mintage of only 22,000 pieces. No double eagles were struck at the San Francisco Mint prior to the addition of IN GOD WE TRUST to the reverse, meaning that collectors will require the acquisition of a 1908-S With Motto coin. For those assembling Mint State date sets, this will be a feat. The present coin is Uncirculated, and abrasions are at a minimum for the grade.
