1924 $20 MS67 PCGS Secure. The 1924 double eagle is, along with its 1928 cousin, the most widely available of the P-mint Saint-Gaudens issues in high Mint State grades. That is a trait that should actually make this Superb Gem more appealing to a wider audience rather than less, as it is the textbook definition of a classic type coin. Glorious luster radiates from each side of this piece, and the surfaces are every bit as unabraded as the grade promises. Areas of yellow-gold and orange-gold compete for viewer attention with small accents of deeper lilac color. Population: 98 in 67 (2 in 67+), 1 finer (1/17).
