Always or nearly always pierced, the present example ranks among the finest of only 10 or so examples known. Tan highlights are present on the olive and steel-gray surfaces of this pleasing representative. The obverse depicts Ferdinand VI facing right, while the reverse has a rider and his mount above two mountains. 33.3 mm, 12.8 grams. (Est. $2,000-$2,500).
