Betts-406. 1758 Boscawen at Louisburg, Bath Metal -- Repaired -- PCGS Genuine. Fine Details. Attractive light yellow surfaces with considerable lavender and steel toning. Both sides exhibit scattered marks and slight evidence of smoothing. Boscawen's half figure faces right on the obverse, with a scene of the fortress at Louisburg on the reverse. The siege of Louisburg, located at present-day Nova Scotia, was a pivotal event of the French and Indian War. 37.8 mm, 13.3 grams. (Est. $600-$900).
