When Quebec fell in 1759, the British military forces were able to defeat the French in several actions across Canada to Detroit during their northern campaign, leading to an eventual conclusion of the French and Indian War. This medal by John Pingo commemorates the British victory at Quebec. Lovely gold and blue toning appears on the prooflike silver surfaces of this lovely representative. 39.9 mm, 20.8 grams.
