1797 George Washington Halliday Medal AU58 PCGS. Baker-70C, Musante GW-57. Bronze, 54 mm, plain edge. An attractive chestnut-brown example, this piece exhibits small maroon toning spots on the obverse with splashes of bluish-steel patina on the reverse. Scattered marks on each side are inconsequential. 54.4 mm, 73.2 grams. (Est. $1,000-$1,500).
