So-Called Dollars
1933 Montana Dollar MS66 NGC. HK-820. Silver, 40 mm, R.5. During the trough of the Great Depression, the Montana Silver Association issued well-made one-ounce silver medals in 1933 to fund its lobbying activities. This well struck and unmarked Premium Gem is mostly white but displays glimpses of peripheral peach-gold patina. (Est. $800-$1,200).
