Bust Half Dollars
1807 50C Capped Bust, Large Stars, 50 Over 20, O-112, R.1, AU50 PCGS. CAC. Both bottom serifs are present on the 1 of the date to confirm the O-112 variety, which features the 50 over 20 denomination and Large Stars on the obverse. Iridescent toning retains glimpses of mint luster at the margins with only slight wear on the chin, neck, and bust line. The surfaces are smooth with one or two tiny ticks and light die clashing on each side. A popular Guide Book variety of the First Style Capped Bust design with CAC endorsement.
