1830 50C Large Letters, Small 0, O-114, R.5, PCGS Genuine. The PCGS number ending in .92 suggests Cleaning as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this coin has the details of a VF specimen that has been cleaned. An evenly worn but subdued pearl-gray example of this scarce R.5 variety, with a few faded marks but no significant abrasions. The words UNITED and STATES are crowded close together to confirm the O-114 reverse, while a filled area at the top of the 3 in the date is diagnostic of the obverse. The O-114 is the only Large Letters variety for the date.
