Seated Half Dollars
1852-O 50C WB-101, Die Pair 1, R.4, AU55 PCGS. Only 144,000 half dollars were minted in New Orleans in 1852, at a time when demand was low since the silver value was greater than the face value. This sharply struck example has reflective fields and lustrous silver surfaces with delicate peripheral gold toning. Population: 11 in 55, 13 finer (1/17).
