Seated Half Dollars
1876-CC 50C Repunched Medium CC Mintmark, WB-102, Die Pair 14, R.3, MS63 PCGS. The date is furthest left of all the 1876-CC die marriages, and the mintmark is noticeably repunched (most visible at the top serifs). Deep, gunmetal-blue edge toning at the top and bottom of both sides cedes to reddish-brown shades, with semireflective silver surfaces between the bands of original patina. This is a sharply struck and lustrous Select Uncirculated example, scarce and popular. Population (all varieties): 27 in 63, 36 finer (12/16).
