Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1929-D 50C MS66 PCGS. Intense silver luster dominates a faint presence of pale almond-gold toning on this conditionally rare Denver half. Few pieces exceed the Gem grade. While the flashy, smooth and frosty surfaces provide most of the visual impact, a sharp strike is immediately apparent and the boldness of Liberty's central portrait and the eagle's trailing leg impress as well. Only a few tiny marks exist, visible with a lens. Population: 76 in 66 (3 in 66+), 1 finer (1/17).
