The 1939-S Walking Liberty half dollar claims a smallish mintage of 2.5 million pieces and few survivors can match the high technical quality and eye appeal of this Plus-graded Superb Gem. The design elements are sharply detailed throughout and vibrant mint luster radiates from both sides. The virtually pristine surfaces display a few hints of jade-gold toning, with incredible visual appeal. PCGS has graded no coins in higher grades (1/17).
