Seated Dollars
1871 $1 MS62 PCGS. OC-7, R.2. Light caramel-gold toning drapes this coruscating and minimally marked example. The strike is fairly sharp, and the eye appeal is significant. One small alloy spot is west of the eagle's shield. The 1871 is one of just two issues with a mintage above 1,000,000 pieces, but attractive coins are always in demand as representatives of the Seated Motto type.
