Morgan Dollars
1884-CC $1 MS67 PCGS. Occasionally -- but not often -- 1884-CC dollars are available with distinctive and attractive, naturally acquired toning from long years of vault storage. This example displays a wide crescent of earthy shades including forest-green, cerulean-blue, plum-red, and amber-orange. The nearly unmarked fields are reflective and semiprooflike in bold contrast to the heavily frosted central motifs. PCGS reports just three numerically finer coins (12/16).
