Morgan Dollars
1884-S $1 AU58 PCGS. From a mintage of 3.2 million pieces, the 1884-S Morgan dollar is an abundant issue in circulated grades, but Mint State specimens are elusive. This attractive near-Mint example offers well-detailed design elements, with just a trace of wear on the high points, and fields that show a mix of satiny mint luster and prooflike reflectivity. A scattering of minor abrasions does little to detract from the overall presentation, but a diagonal scratch on Liberty's cheek is mentioned for completeness.
