Morgan Dollars
1887-O $1 MS65 Prooflike PCGS. The Prooflike designation is often sought but seldom granted at PCGS. This New Orleans example is clearly deserving of the honor, with smooth, reflective fields and lightly frosted devices. The central strike is sharper than often encountered on prooflike coins. Liberty's cheek and neck are nearly unblemished, although a short abrasion above the eyebrow is noted. Overall, an exceptional Gem dollar -- brilliant and well-preserved. Population: 18 in 65 Prooflike, 2 finer (12/16).
