1847 1C Hawaii Cent AU55 PCGS. M. 2CC-1. Crosslet 4, 18 berries. Metcalf 2CC-1 is designated as the second rarest die variety in his standard reference. It is attributed by the presence of a berry below the right side of the W in HAWAII. A lightly circulated chocolate-brown representative. The surfaces are smooth aside from faint lines below HANERI. Listed on page 420 of the 2017 Guide Book.
