Liberty Quarter Eagles
1845 $2 1/2 MS62 PCGS. CAC. This Mint State coin is well-struck save for on the eagle's left (facing) leg, and the lustrous green-gold surfaces exhibit only minor abrasions. The reverse is cracked through both wings and the neck to the rim, with another break traveling down through the D in the denomination. The 1845 quarter eagle is rarely seen this fine. Population: 14 in 62, 14 finer. CAC: 5 in 62, 3 finer (1/17).
