1911-D $2 1/2 AU53 PCGS. Strong D. Only 55,680 Indian quarter eagles were struck at the Denver Mint in 1911, the lowest business-strike mintage of the series. The design elements of this impressive AU53 example were strongly impressed, with a bold mintmark, and only a touch of actual wear is evident on the pleasing lemon-yellow surfaces. Much original mint luster remains intact.
