Liberty Eagles
1893-CC $10 AU53 NGC. Variety 1-A. A meager mintage of 14,000 Liberty eagles was struck at the Carson City Mint in 1893, the final year of coinage operation at the fabled Western facility. This impressive AU53 specimen shows just a touch of wear on the high points of the well-detailed design elements, and the lightly abraded orange-gold surfaces retain traces of original mint luster.
