Indian Eagles
1908-S $10 AU58 PCGS. A briefly circulated example of the first San Francisco Indian ten, sharply struck with a fine-grained texture to the surfaces that retain considerable soft mint luster. Light abrasions are scattered across the high points, but they require a lens for viewing as there are no heavy marks. Pale olive-gold color covers both sides of this moderately available, low-mintage issue, important as the first year with the motto added to the series.
