1871 25C Liberty Round 25 Cents, BG-861, Low R.5, MS65 Deep Mirror Prooflike NGC. Quite possibly the only Gem Deep Mirror Prooflike example of this scarce Liberty Round. Overt contrast between the frosted devices and the mirrorlike fields is apparent at arms length. The top loop of the 8 in the date is characteristically filled, and diagnostic rusting at DO in DOLLAR appears on the reverse. Extremely sharp and problem-free with vibrant greenish-gold color.
