Three varieties are known for the 1872 Round dollar, this one being the most frequently encountered. BG-1207 shares its obverse with BG-1208. This is a bright yellow-gold example with a uniformly strong reverse and slight softness on the obverse stars. Each side features a degree of semiprooflikeness and a dearth of major marks.
