Proof Sets
Uncertified 1942 Proof Set. Housed in a plastic Capital holder. Includes the copper-nickel Jefferson five cent. The half dollar is brilliant and reflective save for a band of gold at the rim. The quarter is brilliant as well and essentially untoned, while the dime displays russet and blue toning that deepens at the rims. A deep toning spot is noted on the dime beneath TY of LIBERTY. Iridescent rainbow toning on the nickel features vibrant pink and blue shades, and the cent displays glossy and lustrous orange and cherry-red toning with golden highlights with two or three reverse carbon spots.
