Triumphal arch, with massive side structures decorated with panels in basrelief; above opening, triangular tympanum on which is Jupiter, standing; on frieze, I.O.M.; the whole surmounted by six-horse chariot driven by two Victories. RIC 572. C. 547 (Fr. 40). AE. g. 24.51 mm. 34.20 RR. Good VF/VF. This building is sometimes described as facade of temple (vid Cohen). That it portrays the triumphal arch at the entrance of Trajan's Forum seems far more probable.
