Large M between X/X/X and N/N/N; above, cross; beneath, Θ. Anastasi 549. Vecchi 4, 652. DOC 30. Spahr 432 (Follis). Sear 1681 (Follis). AE. g. 2.26 mm. 14.00 RR. Very rare. Green-brown patina. VF. Cf. Vecchi, NVMMORVM AVCTIONES 4, lot 652: 'See the note to DOC 30 p. 448, where although three is a wide range of weights in this series, they have all been treated as folles'. However this example seems to be a fraction of a follis.
