RUSSIA Pietro III (1761-1762) Rublo 1762 – Dav. 1682 AG (g 24,00) R Bellissimo esemplare e di grande rarità in questa conservazione. La politica decisamente filo prussiana dello zar Pietro III ed i correlati conflitti con la stessa moglie (che gli succederà col nome di Caterina II), ne determinarono il suo indebolimento in politica interna, che lo portarono prima ad abdicare e poi ad essere ucciso. Il suo regno durò appena sei mesi, da qui la rarità delle sue monete, specialmente quelle in ottimo stato di conservazione, come il presente esemplare. The extremely favourable pro-Prussia politics of the Tsar Peter III and the related conflicts with the same wife (who will succeed him as Catherine II), led to its weakening in domestic politics, which led him first to abdicate and then to be killed. His reign lasted just six months, hence the rarity of his coins, especially those in excellent condition, as the present exemplar.
