Schwabacher schreibt zu diesem Stempel der frühesten menschlichen Porträts auf Münzen :"... and especially Plate 12,7, seem to express a calm and grave but distinctly individual dignity and greatness. This was, one likes to think, the style of the lost masterpieces of Attic portrait sculpture in-the-round of the first half of the fourth century B.C."
